Following the March ruling in favor of the Wyoming wolf delisting, the state held its first wolf hunt since 2013. According to the Gillette News Record, hunters in Wyoming met the 44-wolf limit established in the state’s management plan.
The hunt occurred from October through December 31 with all wolf kills reported to the state. Wildlife officials will use the information obtained from the hunt areas to determine quotas for future hunts.
